If statements are turned on, people that do a free trial of my system and don't continue afterwards still get a statement. The statement shows an amount owing and looks like I am trying to charge them. I have had quite a few complaints and had to explain that they don't owe money, it's just how the statements work. I have actually had to turn off statements for now and am manually sending them out, this is a very arduous task so I would love an automatic option.
I would suggest if there is no credit card on file, dont send a statement, we can using dunning emails to handle the situation.

Hey there, we've got it on our enginerring roadmap to "make trial-ending better" and this is definitely part of it. I don't know exactly when, but it's likely before the end of the year.
Any chance this is still on track for the end of the year? With the current problems in your web app, this is a frustrating thing to do manually. Thanks.
Probably not. Just because of the focus on scaling with growth. That's coming before any other promises.
