Hi there.
Is there an option to customize and send emails to customers who have a FREE TRIAL period warning them that their free trial is about to expire? For example, we want to offer customers a 30 day free trial period. We would like to customize an email message that is sent to customers a few days before their free 30 day trial period is about to end warning them that they will start to be billed next month if they choose not to cancel their subscription, etc.
I searched but couldn't find anything in the Chargify documentation stating that this is an option.
Thanks.
Maria

Hey Maria,
Unfortunately, there isn't that current functionality in Chargify - but it's a good idea. I'll mark this as a feature request, but another great place to get this idea noticed is our UserVoice site.
I do know that the guys have talked about putting in a webhook event that would be sent when a trial is coming to the last few days. That would enable merchants to send any sort of email to their customers as it happens individually.

We would really love to see this feature as well.
Can't wait to get this done.
It's on our list, and seems to be coming up on popularity recently.

Hi guys, your site claims to have this: http://chargify.com/features/subscription-management/
"Chargify even sends out trial email reminders at intervals you can customize.
This seems critical, as no one is going to remember on their own that the trial is ending. Especially for people who use free trials.
Kori, any update on this? A webhook would be useful, but configuring the emails on the chargify site a la dunning would be even better. Thanks
Another vote for this, please.

another vote here as well!
Another vote. How and who would you recommend to implement an email scheduler enabling us to email customers notifications of upcoming billing events?
It's on our wall of features to get out. Our current software iteration goes another 4 weeks, then this (trial-ending) will get pulled in for dev time.
Emily: for now, any merchants that send out emails in advance of billing events, have created their own email program or script, and they run a process every night or every week that checks our API to see what subscriptions are coming up, and then they send off an email to their subscribers. I know that's a bit of work on your end, and that's what we'll be doing for you as we get free dev time to tackle this.
