I'm trying to sync our customer list, monthly subscription sales and cancellations between Chargify and QuickBooks Online. I didn't see download formats or integration points for QB, so I'm guessing they don't exist.
What are the suggested best practices for tracking Customers, Subscriptions and Cancellations between Chargify and QB?
Thanks in advance.

Hello Kam,
Thank you for contacting Chargify.
I am forwarding your question to our technical sales team for their review.

Jay G.
Hi Kam,
Long-term, we'll have an integration done by an outside party. May I ask if you're using QB Desktop or Online? Just curious.
For now, we don't get this question very often, so I don't have a solid answer. I think our merchants export what data there is (exportable) at at least do a monthly reconciliation of some sort, and/or they use their raw revenue reports from their merchant account and bank account and then input data as very high-level summary data.
Sorry I don't have a better answer. With hundreds of merchants, I'm actually a bit surprised that the question does not come up much, but we'll have better reporting, exporting, and integration later this year.
Thanks.

QuickBooks Online.
We can massage the csv download from the transaction report. Not amazing but
it should work.

One thing that would make the transaction csv report more useful would be
adding the "Company/Organization" column from the customer record.
Thanks.

Quick update: we found a UK gentleman who can make some sort of simple Quickbooks/Chargify integration, so we'll pursue this soon.

Thanks. Please keep me posted.

Any update on this issue? We're interested in some type of integration as well.
Same here. With Quickbooks being one of the more popular accounting software out there, integrating with them feels like a natural progression. I don't know how I can use chargify without a solid integration with Quickbooks.
Hey folks,
We're looking at a couple of ways to get this done.
It (Quickbooks or any accounting integration) has been one of those things that, for some reason, has not been highly requested over the past 2 years, but it has crept up to #5 on the request list from merchants:
http://chargify.uservoice.com/forums/57052-make-chargify-better-
So we're approaching it now after a few earlier false starts.
I'm using Quickbooks Online and am in despite need of the integration. Chargify looks great ... it's user friendly, easy to customize and nicely designed. But the hours of time that it will take me to enter in transactions for accounting purposes is making me concerned. Not sure what to do. Keep us updated, thanks!
Hey there,
I think the majority of our merchants just do summary entries in their accounting systems. I've even heard some CPAs and Finance folks say that this is all they think is needed... to enter monthly totals of sales.
But, there is definitely a desire and a need by some to have more detail go into their accounting system, and Quickbooks is the #1 voted option. We have a good company teed up for this, and we're only behind on pulling the trigger because we had to address problems we've encountered due to growth, outlined here if you want to see:
http://chargify.com/blog/chargify-performance/
We anticipate getting back on this soon, and having the Quickbooks Online integration done in the early months of 2012.
Sorry about the delay; can't wait, esp since we're so close now.
Can you please provide an update on this inquiry? We'd love to integrate Chargify with QB Online (sooner, than later).
Hey Bryn,
Quickbooks Online is our target, though integration has been delayed a few times because of other priorities. I don't see it happening until later in 2012, unfortunately. Would love to say sooner, but we've got a small dev team and a long list.
