I have a question about attaching multiple subscriptions per customer via the hosted page option. I know the data model supports it, because I can create multiple subscriptions per customer from within the chargify website. However, upon reading the documentation for the hosted pages, there doesn't seem to be any way to pass in a customer_id. So if my website has multiple products and I want a user to be able to subscribe to more then one, they have to go to the payment page and enter there information each time. This creates a separate customer for each subscription, which is undesirable.
So is there any way to pass in a customer_id to the hosted payment page and have it create a subscription attached to that customer? Is there any other way to have the same user subscribe to multiple products on the hosted page, without having to create multiple customer objects?

Hi Brian,
I've tagged this for one of our developers to answer. I may know the answer, but I want you to get the best advice on this topic.
Thanks.

Brian,
Unfortunately, you can't do this via the hosted pages. There's 2 paths for you on the horizon though - Lance tells me he mentioned one of them to you recently. Let me know if you need any further information on this.
Thanks,
Michael
hi guys - has there been any progress on either of those "2 paths"?
I have the same need: I would like to use hosted pages to allow the same customer (with the same reference ID) to sign up for multiple products.
thanks,

Any news here?
Not yet. This has not been too high on our list of priorities. Its possible via the API, and will be possible via our upcoming hosted portal. We may port this functionality back to the hosted pages. The hang up is a security one - we obviously don't want people to be able to attach any new signup to an arbitrary existing customer record. Its easy to solve with some sort of a shared key solution, but be aware it will introduce some customization on your side.
We're also very interested in this. We really like the hosted pages option because we don't have to touch payment information, but we (obviously) need to be able to create multiple subscriptions per customer.
Alternatively, the 'upcoming hosted portal' sounds very interesting. Is there updated information on either of these solutions? Thanks!

Hey,
Any solutions for this (like the portal) *should* pop out in Q2 or Q3. Sorry we can't be more exact.
We're working on a few things, and the portal is one of them, but it's a big project and we can't always work on it continuously.
