Are you looking to offer current or potential customers a discount? Chargify handles all of your promotional codes, discounts, and coupons with ease. Simply name the promotion, set your desired promo code, and enter the discount. You even have the power to control the expiration date and how long the promotion runs for.
After the initial coupon is applied, customers will be charged the normal amount at the next assessment. For more information on using discounts & coupons, please see our documentation on Coupons.

Looks like using the hosted page there is no confirmation or updating the amount for the user on our sign up flow at http://ethn.io - is there a way, once they have entered the coupon, to display an updated total, or even take them to a custom page to show how much they are about to pay and how much they'll be billed monthly?
I had the same question about coupons. I set up a subscription plan. 1 month free trial, $50 per month thereafter. I created a 30% off coupon.
I would like the coupon to apply to the entire subscription. So effectively, it should be 1 month free trial, $35 per month thereafter. However, when I tested the page, the 30% off would apply only to the trial which was $0 anyways, and nothing would change in the $50 per month.
Am I doing something wrong?
Nate: we added a "Validate Coupon" button recently
Samir: check the coupon settings. You will either need to turn on coupon recurring, or select the option to have the coupon apply at the first renewal after the free trial.
