Can I use Chargify in another country or currency?

Your Customers can be Anywhere

The first thing to remember is that your customers can be located almost anywhere in the world and they can buy from you. As long as they have a type of credit card that is supported by your payment gateway (usually Visa, MasterCard, and American Express, and sometimes others), then your customer can purchase from you.

Your Location is what Matters

You need to be able to conduct legal business (or at least have a bank account) in one of the countries where we have compatible Payment Gateways.

Here is a list of Payment Gateways that we support as of September 1, 2010, along with the currencies they each support:

Merchants in the USA:
Authorize.net: USD
TrustCommerce: USD

Merchants in Canada:
Beanstream: CAD, USD

Merchants in EU (through the UK), UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Singapore:
Payment Express: USD, GBP, EUR, AUD, NZD, SGD, ZAR

For more info on Payment Gateways and the closely related Merchant Account that you'll need, please see our Merchant Accounts & Payment Gateways section in this documentation.

I wish to have pricing in USD and CAD. How do I set up products in multiple currencies?
